Dru Fenster, Owner of Spectrum Design
My name is Dru and I am passionate about creative work and helping businesses achieve success with their marketing materials, both on the web and in print.
I was born and raised in Juneau, Alaska, and lived in Oregon while attending Oregon State University, where I earned a B.S. Degree. I decided to return to Juneau to be close to family and friends while enjoying all the outdoor sporting opportunities Southeast Alaska has to offer. I regularly attend web design and usability conferences to keep my skills razor sharp and ready to deal with the latest technology has to offer. I teach classes as a volunteer at the Small Business Development Center in Juneau -- this Spring I taught courses on web design and e-commerce as well as marketing your business using social media. I love working with entrepreneurs determined to make their business ventures successful. Being a lifelong and self-employed Alaskan, I have many creative ideas for business marketing and know the challenges faced by small businesses in Southeast Alaska.
